I have way too much fabric and notions not to be sewing and a pledge to do some stash busting.
I still have fabric in my possession from the good old days when I lived in Toronto, over two decades ago. That's just crazy. And almost shameful.

ReplyDeleteIts hard to ignore the lure of the textile store- I think I need to sew with the closet door open so I can see what I already have and plot accordingly.
ReplyDeleteWhat prttynpnk said, except my fabric is stashed away/hidden/stored many places in the house. I just found some the other day that I had forgotten about. Like you, I haven't renewed the membership at the evil Fabricland, in the hope of stopping the influx of fabric. Alas, I have already bought two pieces so far this year, granted they were only $3 a meter, but still.....
ReplyDeleteIs it possible to have too much fabric?! ;) I went to JoAnns with my mom this weekend but was really good and didn't buy anything. Although I saw some fabric in the bridal section that was very, very, tempting! Alas, too many unfinished projects!

How exciting - does that make it vintage? It would in my mind! I know that I have some that is pre-'96 and just keep thinking that as I have had it that long, should I be cutting into it? And then I read some very inspiring blogs that say 'what is the worst that can happen'? You just go an buy some other gorgeous fabric!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I renewed my Fabricland subscription for another three years. I have to say that I bought some gor-ge-ous ponte knit from them a few days ago. Lovely!!
