Reasons Why I Sew: Reason # 7

{Source}
My name is Graca and I am fabricholic.  Today is my twenty-fifth day without adding to my fabric stash.

Some days are tough. I am presently tempted by this gorgeous fabric over at Gertie's etsy shop. And don't even get me started on all the beautiful fabrics found over at Marcy Tilton.

I shouldn't even be looking because I have one serious fabric stash. Some pieces have been in my stash for decades! Others have been gifted.

I might be in need of an intervention? And needless to say, it is another reason why I sew.

Happy Sewing!

  3. Hi Graca, it's nice to meet you! My first visit here, and I love the many articles of clothing you've sewn for yourself. There was a time when my wardrobe was 80% sewn by me, but now I have only a few items. On the flip side, I'm getting so much more pleasure out of the act of sewing now. So, there's bound to be more sewing. I love your burda polka dot green top. Everything about it is me. I used to run screaming from Burda patterns, LOL. They have great designs, fantastic details, but I'd always run into a snag or two along the way. That top could bring me back.

    You know what, if you have the space, and it makes you happy; Enjoy your fabric! Spend pleasant afternoons sifting through your pattern stash, unfold and fold your treasured pieces. It's all good.
