Who was I kidding?
I'm back at work and trying to fit some studying time into my schedule while I finish up some computer courses. To top it off, I've lost my sewing mojo. And with less than a week to go, I only have one item made.
It has been a tough couple of months to get some work done around the sewing table. I've lost my sewing mojo in the battle with the cough that won't quit. The desire to get some sewing done is there, the energy to get it done is gone.
Sew, I'm admitting defeat in the Mini Wardrobe challenge.I've made a blue skirt using Vogue 8837 (promise pictures are coming), the one piece that I managed to finish this month. Hopefully I will get around to making Vogue 8839 shortly to go with it.

Don't be hard on yourself- if you push too hard, sewing can stop being your stress outlet and feel like another job. Make something foolsih- thats what I always seem to do!
ReplyDeleteMe too. I gave up weeks ago though, because I haven't even finished the top that was supposed to be my key item, never mind the other 4 pieces. :(
