More Spring Patterns

How clever that Butterick patterns releases their new spring pattern on Groundhog's day!

I do like the moto-style jacket and check out the dress it comes with...

I'm not a fan of the hi-low hemline but look at those front pockets!

This kAtheRine Tilton skirt looks so comfortable. I'm not a huge fan of the wide fold-over waistband but I do like the length and how the pattern is pieced together.

I find this dress to be too cute even though it is not really my style. It is the collar that I like.

How cute is that collar over the collar-less jacket. Tre chic, I think!

Do you have any favourites?

  1. I really liked the Moto jacket. I have looked at many and I really like the zipper placement on this one. The dress too! In the same pattern? Love. I like the Tilton skirt too. Don't you think the vibe is similar to the one Marcy designed for Vogue last season? Super cute suit. I sure did a double take on that look. The navy and white is so fresh.

    1. I thought the same thing about the Marcy Tilton skirt on Vogue. I found the shirt design had the same vibe to the one her sister did too. I already made the Marcy Tilton skirt so I think I will skip this one, but it does look comfortable. And yes! The moto jacket and dress are part of the same pattern. That one is on my wish-list.

  3. I've just made Butterick 6185 (the little blouse) and I love it. It was a nice easy headache-less sew. I really recommend it. I think the fabric they've done it in makes it look kinda old fashioned. I wore it with skinny jeans and wedges and I think it looks really good. Year in Review

Well, I guess I will start with some stats.  In 2024, I focused on two things, sewing from the stash and no more polyester.  Let's start...
